    if you were aware
    and awake inside your dream
    it was lucid

but if you were just meandering, sounds just like a dream, whatever that is...

Hello! I am wondering if you have had astral experiences before. I would say you should probably just "know" that the astral experiences are not like your normal lucid dreams, just as you know that your lucid dreams were not like your regular dreams. When I tell people about my astral experiences, and they say something about what a strange dream it was, I often find myself saying "I wasn't dreaming". If this were my dream, I would call it lucid based on what you said. But...how did it FEEL? Personally, when I transition from a lucid dream to an astral experience, the dream usually subsides and gives way to a very physical feeling, as though my energy is twisting out of my body. Hope this helps!

i feel in most of my lucid dreams i wake up, become lucid and try to wander as far from my physical body as possible. sometimes its a struggle to escape through a window or a door and other times its easy. after i leave my house or wherever i fell asleep at i am in the of the road or in my back yard or the neighbors yard, doing this all by continously floating up or out. once i feel i am in the open its fly time. sometimes i fly down the street or above my house then neighborhood then my town and it feel so liberating. when its nightime i often dream its the brightest warmest day ever. then eventually find myself somewhere totally imaginary.

it reminds me of that movie zathora where the kid opens the front door and theyre floating in space.
that wouldn't be a bad idea to try out.

would my LDs be more astral projections with a lucid twist or a LD with an astral twist? or one in the same?

If you are aware of your physical body and the force that it is exerting on you, it sounds like you have already transferred consciousness to your astral body, perhaps while your physical body was dozing for a brief period. Your physical body exerts a magnetic influence on your astral body while it is in close proximity, and wants to "reel it in". This feeling of resistance is common until you are away from your physical body - say, up on the roof. Then things usually become easier for you. Practice makes perfect. Sounds like astral experiences to me - and some very nice ones!

One time I floated out of my bed and became lucid. I immediately flew out the window. I then had a false awakening where the exact same thing happened. This cycle repeated itself about several times. About the fourth time, I caught myself before flying, and decided to explore my home. Everything looked exactly as it should except it all had a slightly transparent look. With quite a bit of effort(my body wanted to stay in my room) I floated to the front room and decided to do the digital clock test. I looked at my microwave and there were no #'s on it. It was just dark. "That's odd" I thought. Usually in my dreams, the #'s show, but they change constantly or make no sense. Then I flew out the window and had no more LD's that night.

Anyways. When I woke up in the morning, I went out to the kitchen only to find that the clock on my microwave had burnt out during the night and was completely dark. Exactly like the dream.

Hmmmmm.... How would I have known this had I not really seen it???
